Strangely, I looked like a kid in this pic
My anticipation made me feeling young all over!
Now can u imagine how excited I was before the painting class?
Well, if you expect a bunch of old fogeys sharing the class with me,
be prepared to be shocked. I was the only adult student in the class
How pathetic
Head hung low, red-faced , I confronted the teacher
Yes, confronted
Why wasn't I was informed that it's was a children class?!
His reply was that, "There's no differentiation in learning chinese ink painting art" *exasperated*
Pissed but amused, I scurried to the back of the class, with abt 20 pairs of sparkling, curious eyes on me
I smiled back awkwardly
May I add that I can see triumphant in some, as they are all equipped with brushes etc and I have NONE. How infuriating!
I wished that I can show them my middle finger when their parents are not looking
Mr Chew Chuan Hor then "came to my rescue", maybe he felt guilty
I don't know...
With much scoldings and "threatenings", the little rascals decided to do their drawings quietly
Chaos then gave way to peace
Or else I gonna twist their little heads & staple their pink lips *evil laughter*
Now, my turn to draw...
Finally, my own set of equipments. Worth $75, mind you
1. Straight lines first
2. Chew showed me the 5 different types of bamboo
3. Pei's very own bamboo stems!!! Wahahaha~ Not x-rays of the legs okai? It's bamboo stems without leaves
4. Second attempt at home, with mum, Min, Max & Doreen ('s) involvement
Well, well, inspired by the chinese-ink-painting-artist-to-be now?
